Miscellaneous: Find the Secret Treasure

There are four quests that you can unlock, but you can only complete them after starting the last main Dark Brotherhood quest called Where You Hang Your Enemy’s Head. To begin, talk to Delvin Mallory and spend 5000 gold pieces on the torture chamber (as shown in the screen above).

Return to Dawnstar Sanctuary and go to the room where you previously fought Cicero. You will find four people imprisoned here. Approach each of them one by one to start a conversation. Keep talking until they reveal the location of a treasure (as shown in the screen above).

Only start searching for the treasures after you have learned the locations of all four hiding places. Travel to places marked on the world map and interact with stumps (as shown in the screen above) or other elements in the environment. Each hiding place contains only gold.
