Murdering Multiple Targets in Colorado

There are various ways to eliminate the four main targets in Colorado using surrounding objects, but some methods are common for all targets. This chapter will provide more information on these methods.

  • Using a sniper rifle
  • Using nitroglycerin
  • Using poison
  • Using a silencer or a garrote

Using a Sniper Rifle

The water tower is an ideal location for scouting

Eliminating all targets with a sniper rifle is possible, but it’s recommended to do so after replaying the level and unlocking higher ranks. There are no sniper rifles on the farm, so the Agency needs to deliver one. The water tower (M7.7) is the best location to receive the delivery and scout the area.

Although the tower is an ideal place to eliminate targets, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • The enemy will immediately detect you if you use the sniper rifle without a silencer or miss your target.
  • If they detect you, there is only one ladder leading to the tower, and you won’t have anywhere to run.
  • If you’re not using a disguise, it will be harder to reach one of the exits.
  • Ezra Berg will only be in range for a brief moment, so attack him while he is on the right side of the house, traveling between the basement and the garage.

It’s recommended to save your progress before each shot and ensure that you hit your target. After each shot, move away from the edge of the metal platform to avoid detection.

The tower is not the only location to attack targets. You can also shoot from buildings, fields, or the upper floor of the barn. Just remember to use an appropriate disguise.

Using Nitroglycerin

Hide until you throw the nitroglycerin bottle

Nitroglycerin is used in one of the Opportunities to eliminate Sean Rose, but it can be used to eliminate all four targets. Nitroglycerin bottles are scattered across the farm, and the largest stash is located in the orchard (M7.10) (distract the guard by turning off the generator). Additionally, there is nitroglycerin in the garage (M7.15) and Sean’s room (M7.31).

Once you have enough bottles, you can start eliminating targets. Keep in mind that nitroglycerin explodes when it touches an object or the ground. You can use one bottle for a single target or wait for an opportunity to kill multiple targets with one shot. For example, you can kill Ezra Berg and Penelope Graves during a conversation in front of the main entrance (M7.27) or Sean Rose and Maya Parvati during a meeting in the barn (M7.19).

Here are some useful tips before you begin:

  • To remain undetected, try to stay hidden behind objects or fences.
  • If there is an explosion, do not attack the targets as they will be evacuated to a safe zone. Wait for the alarm to end.
  • Explosions have limited impact, especially on moving targets.

Using Poison

To complete one of the challenges in Colorado, you can use deadly poison. Before starting the mission, be sure to take Modern Lethal Syringe and Lethal Poison Pill Jar. You can also find additional poison in various locations as listed below:

  • The Modern Lethal Syringe is located in the basement of the main house.
  • The Lethal Poison Pill Jar is visible in a building in the west part of the farm. Ezra Berg will leave it once he is gone.

You can kill Sean Rose and Ezra Berg with a syringe. Wait for Sean Rose in the toilet on the upper floor of the house and attack Ezra Berg in the small garage.

You can also kill Penelope Graves with Lethal Poison Pill Jar by adding the poison to the water bottle in the greenhouse. For Maya Parvati, add the poison to the water bottle in the barn.

Using a Silencer or a Garrote

All targets can be eliminated with a pistol with a silencer or garrote. However, it’s important to attack each target when they are alone. For example, you can assassinate Penelope Graves in the location shown in the screenshot above.

In Hitman, there are various ways to take out the targets. Sean Rose can be killed in the upstairs toilet or by adding hallucinogenic drugs to his cigarettes. Ezra Berg can be eliminated in the small garage or in the basement after overdosing the hostage. Penelope Graves can be killed on the ground floor of the main house, while her guards are outside, or by completing the slurry pit Opportunity. Maya Parvati can be eliminated by luring her to a side room of the barn or by activating a generator near the east exit at the right moment. It’s best to use Point Man’s disguise to lure her to the room.

What is the history of multiple killings in Colorado?

Colorado has seen its fair share of multiple killings over the years. One of the most infamous cases was the Columbine High School massacre in 1999, in which two students killed 13 people and injured 21 others before taking their own lives. Another notable case was the Aurora theater shooting in 2012, where a lone gunman killed 12 people and injured 70 others during a midnight screening of “The Dark Knight Rises.” Other cases include the Planned Parenthood shooting in 2015 and the STEM School Highlands Ranch shooting in 2019. While these cases are horrific and tragic, it’s important to remember that they are not representative of the majority of people in Colorado and that the state has taken steps to address and prevent such acts of violence.

What measures have been taken to prevent multiple killings in Colorado?

Following the Columbine massacre, Colorado implemented the Safe2Tell program, which allows students to anonymously report threats or concerning behavior to authorities. In addition, the state has implemented stricter gun laws, including universal background checks and a ban on high-capacity magazines. In 2019, Colorado also passed a red flag law, allowing law enforcement to temporarily remove firearms from individuals who pose a threat to themselves or others. Mental health resources have also been expanded in the state, with a particular focus on early intervention and prevention. While there is still much work to be done, these measures show that Colorado is taking the issue of multiple killings seriously and working towards a safer future.
