Rewards for completing the mission

  1. XP and cash;
  2. Unique weapon: Idol Star Launcher – a fireworks launcher dropped by the Collective member;

  1. Collectible: Idols Memento;
  2. bonus to strength and health for Kev – your companion will become stronger and fight better (it is worth calling him through the phone more often);

Find Kevin

At the start of the mission, a short cutscene will inform you that Kev has been kidnapped. Talk to Eli in the church and follow his GPS to Snake Oil Saloon.

Get some answers

Approach the Idol standing by the jukebox in the bar, and execute a few melee attacks (R2/RT on the controller).

Bar fight!

You will initiate a bar fight where you cannot use firearms or your skills. You have to defeat all the enemies with your fists. You can still dodge and use Takedowns to restore health.

The good news is that the bar patrons will be fighting each other instead of focusing on you. You can easily eliminate the enemies busy beating up someone else.

Answer Kev’s phone

After the fight, you will hear Kev’s phone ringing outside the saloon.

More Idols will appear, but now you can use firearms to gun them down. Aim for the explosives scattered around the area to take them out more efficiently.

Find the survivor

The surviving idol is hiding in a portable toilet. In a cutscene, the Boss will attach the toilet to their vehicle and drag it behind them.

Wreck the Idols’ camp

You will reach the Idols’ camp where you have to destroy their tents to fill the destruction meter in the upper left corner of the screen. You can use the portable toilet to smash them if you keep turning.

Get to the Santo Ileso sign

You are now on a time limit to reach the Santo Ileso sign and complete the next objective after getting there.

To complete the mission, you need to drive quickly past the Idol blockades and avoid wasting time. Once you arrive, park your car behind the large sign. Your next task is to disarm five bombs while under a time limit. Use the stairs at the back of the sign to reach the higher metal structure. As you disarm the bombs, prepare to be attacked by Idols and a helicopter holding a mini-boss. Do not attempt to destroy the helicopter, focus on disarming the bombs instead. Kevin is restrained next to the final bomb, freeing him will stop the time limit. Glide with your wingsuit to the house where the party is being held. After landing, you’ll face more Idols. Remember to destroy yellow armor bars, use Takedowns, and revive Kevin if necessary. The Collective Member is a mini-boss that you can only start fighting once he lands and leaves the helicopter. Aim for his head when possible, use AoE skills and stay mobile to avoid his fireworks. If you need healing, sprint towards one of the boss’ minions and use a Takedown on them. Defeating the Collective member will end the mission.
