Basic Information on Upgrading

Leveling up in Diablo Immortal entails upgrading items at the Blacksmith. Upgrades move between items, meaning that upgrading a helmet and replacing it with a new one carries over the upgrades. The same applies to Legendary Gems placed in items.

Accessories such as belts, amulets, and rings are different. Normal Gems of the same color available for the item can be placed in them (items have a variable number of stone slots). Gems will be transferred automatically, but only if the new item has space for them. Gems can be removed, and if an item with gems is accidentally salvaged, the gems will be returned.

Saving Legendary items in Stashes is recommended. Early in the game, it is enough to put on everything with better stats than the current equipment. Differences in values and attributes do not make much difference in the beginning.

To salvage materials from items, go to the Blacksmith. Mark the items you want to salvage into parts and confirm. This service is free. Salvaged items return all gems (if any). Salvage materials are as follows:

  1. White items – 1x Salvage
  2. Blue items – 3x Salvage
  3. Yellow items – 1x Enchanted Dust
  4. Orange items (Legendary) – 1x Glowing Shard

Hint: use the buttons at the bottom of the window to automatically select all items of a specific class. Only Legendary items cannot be salvaged automatically.

How to Upgrade?

To upgrade equipment, go to the Blacksmith. For Gem upgrades, go to the Apprentice Jeweler. Upgrading at low levels guarantees an increase in an item’s stats and attributes by 2 points. Salvage is the basic resource for upgrades. Players also have to pay in gold.

To upgrade items in Diablo 3, players need Enchanted Dust and Glowing Shards, which can be obtained by salvaging Legendary items. Upgrading accessories is also possible, but players will require a rare item called Enigmatic Crystal that can be obtained mainly in the Challenge Rifts. From the fifth upgrade level onward, items will receive additional random bonuses. Players can exchange Salvage for Enchanted Dust, Glowing Shard, and even an Enigmatic Crystal in the shop next to the Blacksmith in Westmarch.

Once an item reaches rank 5, players can use Reforge Stones to change the attribute of a specific gear. These stones can be purchased from the Hilt Merchant or earned by reaching specific ranks in the Battleground. The Reforge section also allows players to check which attributes belong to one family. If players get 3 attributes from one group on one item, they will receive an additional set attribute.

1. What is crafting in Diablo Immortal?

Crafting in Diablo Immortal is a feature that allows players to create their own equipment. This means that players can collect various materials and use them to craft powerful weapons and armor. To craft an item, players need to have the required materials and visit a blacksmith or a jeweler. The blacksmith can craft weapons and armor, while the jeweler can create gems and socket them into equipment.

2. How do I obtain crafting materials?

Crafting materials can be obtained by completing quests, killing monsters, or dismantling unwanted equipment. Each item can be dismantled into different materials, depending on its rarity. For example, a rare item will give better materials than a common one. Players can also purchase materials from vendors, but this can be expensive.

3. Can I upgrade my equipment?

Yes, players can upgrade their equipment in Diablo Immortal. Upgrading an item will increase its stats and improve its overall quality. To upgrade an item, players need to have the required materials and visit a blacksmith. The materials needed for upgrading are different from those used for crafting, so players need to collect both types. The higher the rarity of the item, the more materials it will require to upgrade.

4. What are legendary items?

Legendary items are unique and powerful pieces of equipment in Diablo Immortal. They have special effects and can only be obtained by completing specific quests or defeating certain bosses. Legendary items cannot be crafted or upgraded, but they are already at their maximum power level. These items are highly sought after by players due to their rarity and effectiveness in combat.

5. Can I trade my crafted items with other players?

No, players cannot trade their crafted items with other players in Diablo Immortal. This is because the game has a personal loot system, which means that each player receives their own loot from monsters and bosses. Crafting and upgrading equipment is a personal endeavor, and the items created cannot be sold or traded. However, players can still help each other by sharing crafting materials or giving advice on crafting strategies.
