Elex 2: Bahadur’s Right Hand

On this page of the Elex 2 guide, we provide the complete walkthrough for the Bahadur’s Right Hand mission, which involves a critical decision between Dimitar and Marat that significantly influences the rest of the game.

The Bahadur’s Right Hand quest is received from Bahadur after completing The Duties of an Overseer quest. Your objective is to find a replacement for the position of Mordrag, and you have to choose between Dimitr and Marat. This decision will have a significant impact on the rest of the game, and we have listed the consequences of your choices below.

Choosing between Dimitr and Marat in this quest will determine whether you stay with the Morkon faction or have to join the Outlaws.

  • Dimitr or Marat – who to choose?
  • Option 1 – choosing Dimitr (Kriiton path)
  • Option 2 – choosing Marat (Ravaac path)

Dimitr or Marat – who to choose?

Once you receive the quest, proceed to Jax’s Voice, who will suggest Marat for the position of Mordrag. He will also mention a mutual friend, Lazar, who you may have already met if you agreed to be Ivika’s spy and started The Way of Kriiton quest.

Option 1 – choosing Dimitr (Kriiton path)

Choosing Dimitr will result in the failure of the quest and lock you out of advancing the ranks in the Morkon faction, forcing you to join the Outlaws. However, this is the only way to join the Outlaws.

If you prefer to choose Dimitr, go to Lazar, who will recommend him for the position. You can find Lazar at the bottom of the Grotto, and if you haven’t visited this place yet, talk to Ivika and agree to become a spy.

Offer the position of Mordrag to Dimitr, who will agree only if you officially side with the Poachers. To do this, speak to Bahadur and inform him that you are joining the Poachers. Then, talk to Dimitr again, and he will agree to take the position.

Return to Jax’s Voice and select Dimitr for the position. You will go to Bahadur together, and upon hearing the decision, Bahadur will give up the idea of choosing Jax as his right hand, and the quest will fail. Advancing in the ranks of the Morkons will no longer be possible, and the faction storyline will continue in The Way of Kriiton quest.

Option 2 – choosing Marat (Ravaac path)

Choosing Marat will cause The Way of Kriiton quest to fail, leaving you unable to join the Outlaw faction. However, you will get the opportunity to be promoted to the highest rank of the Morkons.

If you prefer to choose Marat for the position, go to him, who can be found in the Cellar bar in the Grotto. Marat will accept the position immediately, and you will not need to take any additional steps.

Let Jax’s Voice know about your decision and bring him to Bahadur. He will be pleased with your choice. Once your character reaches level 30 or higher, you can ascend to the top rank of the Morkon faction and complete the quest. Keep in mind that if you choose this path, you won’t be able to join the Outlaws as part of The Way of Kriiton quest.
