What Are Archives?
The Archives is a compilation of unique quests for both Killers and Survivors. To complete them, players must meet specific requirements such as using a particular perk. The quests are categorized into four-part tomes.
Completing the tasks in each tome rewards players with Rift fragments, which translate into Rift progression similar to battle passes. With each level, players receive cosmetic items or one of the currencies available in the game. The rewards depend on whether a free or better version is completed.
When the Rift closes and the tome expires, players can still play it to test their skills and earn extra Bloodpoints.
In addition to valuable rewards, the tomes unlock character stories that relate to the game’s plot. Players receive fragments of the story by completing Master Quests.
Types of Quests
There are two types of quests in the Archives. Regular quests only require players to achieve the objective, with no time limits. Master quests, on the other hand, require completing the objective in one attempt. If unsuccessful, all progress will reset.
