Exit the dye works
Upon exiting the building, players will find themselves in a large, open area known as the dye works. Here, players have the freedom to choose their own path and method for eliminating or avoiding bandits.
Players can use previously learned techniques, such as scanning the area, hiding in tall grass, using a slingshot and crossbow, or setting enemies on fire with tar and Ignifiers. Hugo can even link with a rat swarm in one of the huts on the right-hand side of the area, allowing for the safe disposal of enemies who are not holding torches.
Stay close to the hut and move behind it. Use your slingshot to destroy the blockade pictured above. This will unlock the gate, allowing you to access a secret chest once you return to the hut.
The exit is located at the opposite end of the area. Be aware that approaching the exit will spawn new enemies, so be prepared to face them or wait for them to disperse.
Deal with the Beast
Players will trigger a miniboss fight against the Beast.
Remember to keep your distance from the enemy and avoid the fire at all costs.
You will find vessels and crafting ingredients scattered throughout the area. Pick them up if you are running low on supplies, but make sure that the Beast is far away first.
Equip a Tar Pot or craft one if you do not have one. Throw it at the Beast.
This will temporarily immobilize the Beast. Quickly move behind it and use your slingshot to target its weak spot on its back, as shown above. This should be enough to end the battle.
Once the fight is over, Amicia will once again lose strength. Players must control the rat swarms and attack nearby enemies by following the red markers.
Escape from the rats
A massive swarm of rats will appear, and players must run away from them. Just like during the previous escape from the city, keep sprinting and follow the linear path leading through balconies. Reach a higher platform and press the Interact button (Triangle/Y) to toss Hugo upwards. This will trigger a few cutscenes and complete Chapter 6.
