The First Yucatec Monolith

Yucatec monoliths are easily distinguishable by their red color, making them easy to spot.

You can find the first monolith on the south side of the city, where it is not hidden and is surrounded by ordinary people.

The monolith’s hint reads, “Canals bring water to the arid parts of the village, and they washed me away”. Lara will read it when examining the monolith, but you can also use the map to check it.

To find the treasure, follow the canals in the city. The canals are visible on the floor and contain flowing water. The location of the treasure is shown in the above screenshot.

The Second Yucatec Monolith

The second Yucatec monolith can be found in The Hidden City as you progress through the main storyline. It is located on the road between the Upper City and the prison related to the main plot missions.

The monolith’s hint reads, “A once ferocious warrior, raised as a warning. I fell from his mouth and now lie beneath him”. Lara will read it when examining the monolith, but you can also use the map to check it.

After reading the hint on the monolith, turn around and head to the right. You will find a path leading down, which you need to unlock with your shotgun and cross to the other side.

Once you reach the other side, head to the right. At the top, near the totem with a skull, you will find the treasure.

The Third Yucatec Monolith

The next Yucatec monolith can be found in the south-eastern part of the map, at the end of the path leading from the temple.

The monolith’s hint reads, “They stand back-to-back, two brothers in arms. I lie at the feet of the one who watches the shaded serpent”. You can use the map to check the hint again if needed.

The treasure is located at the top of the stairs. At the end, you will see two statues facing each other with their backs and a stone wall between them. The treasure is buried in the grass at the very top.

The Fourth Yucatec Monolith

The fourth Yucatec monolith can be found in the city center where many people worship it.

The monolith contains a hint about seven golden birds, one of which escaped to the trees with its treasure and dropped it from its talons. The treasure is waiting for you to find it.

The hints refer to golden bird decorations hung on trees, which can be found in the areas around the temple.

To find the treasure, go left from the monolith and climb the stairs to the top. There, you will see a woman and a golden bird decoration. The treasure is buried between them under the tree.
