Upon entering the Massachusetts State House, you may be underwhelmed by its linear interior design with no side passages or rooms. There are only a few mirelurks and some gunner corpses with no interesting items. However, the excitement picks up once you reach the large cave in the underground. Follow the red wire to the terminal that unlocks the locked door.

Upon unlocking the door, you will face a tough opponent, the mirelurk queen. This rarely encountered enemy is followed by a group of gunners. You can find some ammo here as well.

After defeating the gunners, look for the key to the steel crate by the turret. The miniboss, who wears a gunner power armor, guards the crate. Defeat the leader and claim the armor for yourself. To exit, use the makeshift elevator in the room and head to the lower level towards the exit.

While exploring, you will come across a mininuke in the room where you fight the gunner in power armor. Additionally, a regular generator can be stripped for a fusion core.
