Comments: This keep is occupied by enemy mages and monsters. It is best to explore it while completing the “Hitting the Books” quest from the College of Winterhold.

24. GJUKAR’S MONUMENT

Comments: This fortress is occupied by enemy units and it’s best to explore it while completing the “Side Contract: Kill Agnis” quest from the Dark Brotherhood.

Comments: It is best to visit the watchtower while completing the “Dragon Rising” main quest. A huge battle with a dragon takes place here at that time, however you won’t encounter any other enemies aside from the flying creature.

Comments: A sorcerer and skeletons occupy this location. One of thirteen magical standing stones is present here, which can grant a powerful blessing when interacted with.

40. Whiterun Stormcloak Camp

Comments: If you’ve joined the Imperial Legion, stay away from this camp as you’ll be attacked on sight. If the Stormcloaks are your allies, explore this location while completing their civil war quests.
