Quest for Warrior Specializations

Way of the Reaver

Specialization Requirements:

  • 3x Infusion Primer
  • 20x Rashvine
  • 1x Writing on Templar Techniques

Rashvine

Infusion Primer is a special item that can be obtained by defeating two-handed warriors in Crestwood. They move in packs and are commonly found near the coast.

Rashvine is a type of vine hanging from trees and rocks in Exalted Plains, Emerald Graves, and Emprise du Lion.

You can find Writings on Reaver Techniques in the tavern near Iron Bull. Alternatively, you can purchase this item from a merchant in Val Royeaux.

Note – despite the name of the item you are crafting, Dragon Blood is not required for its production.

Way of the Champion

Specialization Requirements:

  • 3x Heraldic Symbol
  • 20x Veridium
  • 1x Writing on Champion Techniques

Heraldic Symbol can be obtained by defeating three enemies in Exalted Plains, near the southern edge of the map. It is found in the beginning part of the swamp, north from the western camp.

Veridium is a commonly found mineral. You can find it, for example, in Exalted Plains.

Writing on Champion Techniques can be found near Blackwall in Skyhold stable. If Blackwall is not one of your companions, you can purchase the item from a merchant in Val Royeaux.

Way of the Templar

Specialization Requirements:

  • 3x Broken Philter
  • 50x Embrium
  • 1x Writing on Templar Techniques

Broken Philter can be obtained by defeating demons from the rifts in Hinterlands. It is more likely to find the item when defeating powerful demons.

Embrium is commonly found throughout Thedas. However, collecting 50 plants can be quite a challenge. It is beneficial to have the Inquisition perk – Optimal Cutting, which gives you a 10% chance of collecting a few herbs with one cut. Look for the plant in Hinterlands, Crestwood, and Emerald Graves.

Writing on Templar Techniques can be found near Cassandra. Alternatively, you can purchase them from a merchant in Val Royeaux.
