After accepting the mission, Eli will contact you. Meet him on the first floor of the Church and interact with the laptop to watch a live stream of the Boot Hill tournament. The goal is to join the next round of the tournament.
Go to the Dock
Travel to the dock next to the Church. There’s a boat that can take you to the central island where the tournament is held. Purchase a ticket to begin your journey.
You don’t need to prepare for the fights since the game won’t allow you to use your weapons in the tournament. However, try to unlock at least one health upgrade beforehand.
Survive Boot Hill
On Boot Hill island, you can only use the weapons you find. Your previous weapons won’t be available. New weapons are located in vertical red coffins, which you can find in each new area of the island. You’ll start with melee weapons, but you’ll acquire various firearms and gadgets later. Test each new weapon, but it’s not required to use them. Use the weapon radial menu to switch between collected weapons.
For the fights, use dodge and takedowns to restore health. The game won’t create new checkpoints for a while, so if you fail, you’ll return to the starting section of the island. Take advantage of enemies fighting each other, and use this to your advantage. Beware of enemies with firework launchers as they can easily deplete your health. Run around, use dodges, and lock on to them at the beginning of each fight.
You’ll find ammunition carts along the way. Approach them to replenish your favorite weapons.
Upon reaching the tunnel, the game should generate a checkpoint. Defeat the regular enemies and make your way to the arena where a mini-boss with a yellow shield bar and high durability awaits. It’s recommended to use the launcher and the rifle to take down the boss (hold down the aim button to target the green crosshair). If necessary, you can retreat to the tunnel and attack from a distance.
Utilize the Turret
In the location where the boss was, there’s a stationary turret. Eliminate the operator (preferably with a headshot) and take control of the turret. Use the turret to eliminate enemies approaching from both sides (keep an eye out by moving the turret around). You don’t have to defeat them all since a cut-scene will start after some time, concluding the tournament.
