Elex: How to Become a Captain in the Outlaws Faction

After achieving the Enforcer rank in the Outlaws faction of Elex, players can aim to become a Captain by meeting the requirements set by William:

1. Jax must be at level 25 or higher.

Dispute Over Space

To unlock this quest, players must speak with Rat or Blake in The Fort.

Rat/Blake will inform players that they must defeat two other Outlaws who are also vying for the Captain rank: Erin and Smoke. The players must challenge them to a face-off in the arena. Here are the steps to defeat them:

1. Give Erin 100 Elexit to challenge her to a duel. Once defeated in the arena, players will receive 100 Elexit and Erin’s confirmation that she won’t pursue the Captain rank.
2. Smoke will fight players without any additional requirements. Players must watch out for his melee weapon as it can cause bleeding status. Defeating Smoke gives players 350 XP.

Once the players have defeated Erin and Smoke, they must inform Rat/Blake to complete the quest and receive 400 XP.

Money Collectors

To unlock this quest, players must speak with Chloe in The Fort.

Chloe will ask Jax to collect Elexit from three Berserker-debtors who are currently in The Fort:

1. The first Renegade Berserker is in the brothel. Players must intimidate him to get a Bulging Bag, or they can force him to give 75 Elexit.
2. The second Renegade Berserker is near the north entrance to The Fort. Regardless of how the conversation goes, he will try to escape. Players can use ranged attacks or follow him (using sprint) and attack and kill him. Once defeated, players must examine his corpse and take the Bulging Bag.
3. The third Renegade Berserker is located near the entrance to the arena. Players must defeat him and take the Bulging Bag from his corpse.

Note: Players can also use the Pickpocket ability to steal the Elexit bags from the Berserkers’ inventories.

Once players have collected all the Elexit bags, they must return to Chloe to complete the quest and receive 200 XP.

Recapture

To unlock this quest, players must speak with Mad Bob in The Fort.

Mad Bob will ask players to help other Outlaws recapture Blood Road, which is currently controlled by the Berserkers. Players must meet with Striker and his group, located northwest of Old Windfarm, and eliminate the Berserkers while avoiding attacking their allies and falling off narrow footbridges. Each killed Berserker gives players 100 XP, and eliminating them all rewards players with 2000 XP. Once completed, players must report back to Mad Bob to receive 800 XP.

How to Become a Captain

To become a Captain, you need to finish all the quests mentioned earlier and reach level 25 or above. Once you have achieved this, you can approach William and request a promotion to the Captain rank. You will be rewarded with 4000XP.
