Elex: Walkthrough for Mana Shrine Side Quest

In this side quest, you must recover the lost shipment of Elex. The theft was carried out by Kral, a berserker, and finding him may be necessary.

To unlock the quest, speak with Caldrim Goliet.

This is where you find Kral’s journal

Caldrim is located in the shrine in Goliet, where he supervises the shipments of Elex that go towards mana production. He can provide you with this quest. Caldrim will inform you that a guard named Kral is his prime suspect.

Head to the Hotel Ruins of Goliet and reach the large balcony at the back of the building. Find Kral’s Journal and read through it (100XP). Return to Caldrim, who will give you the possible location where Kral is hiding.

If you let Kral explain, you will be able to peacefully resolve the quest

Kral’s hideout is located south of Goliet, near the River Delta. Enter the large, abandoned building. Kral is in one of the rooms, and if you want to fulfill Caldrim’s request, attack him even before talking to him. Apart from Kral (who uses a zweihander) you’ll have to defeat his mutated brother, Grimar, who is much faster. After the fight (200XP) search Kral’s corpse to get the Elex Package (100XP). Return to Caldrim and give them to him – you’ll get 250XP and 250 Elexit.

Alternatively, you can speak with Kral and learn his side of the story – he needs Elex for his brother, Grimar. You can choose one of several ways to complete the quest:

1. Convince Kral to return the Elex – you need Suggestion. Return to Caldrim to receive 250XP and 250 Elexit. At the end, you can either reveal all the details to Caldrim (to worsen your relationship) or keep the information to yourself.
2. Buy the Elex for 400 Elexit – you get 100XP. Return to Caldrim and receive 250XP and 250 Elexit. At the end, you can either reveal all the details to Caldrim (to worsen your relationship) or keep the information to yourself.
3. Let Kral keep the supply of Elex. He will give you 100XP and 136 Elexit. Return to Caldrim. You can either tell the truth (that Kral is still alive, hence deteriorating your relationship with Caldrim) or lie that you killed him but found no Elex. You receive 250XP and 150 Elexit.
4. Attack Kral. It’s identical to the previous variant – you’ll have to defeat Kral and his brother Grimar and return the Elex to Caldrim.
