Finn… Leaking… Bag?

After completing the first story mission, you will be on board the Resistance Cruiser, where you will be asked to find an outfit for Finn. Go to the door marked in the game and use the orange terminal to complete the mini-game.

You must explore the area indicated by the game, particularly the object shown above, which you must destroy. After doing so, proceed to the new blue circle and then to the bridge. After Rose Tico appears, you will be instructed to report a desertion. Go to the marked room.

The Master Codebreaker

After arriving at the hangar, select the planet Cantonica from the galaxy map and land in Canto Bight.

Head to the northern part of the new location and go to the casino, where you should talk to the NPCs marked. They will inform you of the codebreaker’s whereabouts.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to access the side area as it is guarded by a Twi’Lek. Talk to the R5-M2 droid (picture 1) and find out that you can distract the guard by shooting or hitting the piano (picture 2). After unlocking the way forward, approach the blue circle to begin the Master Codebreak-Out level.

Master Codebreak-Out – challenges

This level has three challenges:

  1. In an ironic twist, you need to lock a guard in a cell in order to complete the “Isn’t it Ironic?” challenge at the start of the mission. Begin by opening the inner cells and destroying the breakable items in one of them. Use the fragments to create guard dummies (picture 1). Pull the lever, leave the cell, and wait for the real guards from the central room to arrive. Once they do, pull the lever in the main corridor to lock the cell and trap them inside (picture 2).
  2. For the “Prison Break” challenge, you must enter the guards’ room undetected. One way to do this is to unlock and move a statue later on.
  3. The “Guards Down” challenge requires you to defeat 8 guards while escaping the prison. After reaching the central room, don’t immediately open the hatch to escape. Instead, eliminate the required eight guards first.

Walkthrough – Reaching the Guards’ Room

At the start of the level, you’re in prison and your objective is to escape. There are two ways to reach the central room. The first involves trickery and completing the mission objective without setting off alarms.

Look around and open some cells by pulling levers. In one of them, you’ll find a small machine (picture 1) that you can mount and take to the matching slot (picture 2).

Unlock the cell where you can push a statue of a guard (pictured above) and move it near the central room’s entrance. Press the button to trick the guards.

The second method involves raising an alarm. Find the pushable container (pictured above) and two red pressure plates (you may need to rebuild one of them). Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Push the container onto one of the plates.
  2. Stand on the second plate with your first character.
  3. Switch to the second character and pull the newly unlocked lever.

Walkthrough – Battling the Guards and Escaping the Prison

Regardless of the method you choose, you’ll have to fight the guards in the central room. Your priority is to recover your gear, which you can use the trampoline for. Use it to reach the higher floor and pull the lever (picture 1). Destroy the energy source at the bottom (picture 2) to open the cells and trigger a riot.

Retrieve your grapple hook from the central corridor between the cells and use it to open the hatch above. Go down the hatch to escape the prison.
