Basic Information

The Hag can be a challenging killer to control. However, if played correctly, she can surprise survivors. Her power is limited, though.

  1. Name: Lisa Sherwood
  2. Height: Moderate
  3. Terror Radius: 24 meters
  4. Movement Speed: 4.6 m/s
  5. Difficulty Level: Difficult
  6. DLC: Yes

Power and Perks

The Hag has the power to teleport, but it has limitations. She can only move to the traps she has set, which have been activated by a survivor and are within a certain radius.

Players can set traps on the ground freely. When a trap activates, players receive a Loud Noise Notification, and if they are within the range of the trap, they can teleport to it.

All of the Hag’s perks are based on Hex Totems. However, only one of them is currently useful.

Effect

Hex: Ruin

When a generator is not repaired by a survivor, it automatically loses repair progress by 50/75/100% of the normal regression speed.

The perk deactivates in two cases:

  1. When any survivor is killed,
  2. When the Hex Totem is destroyed.

Devour Hope

When a Survivor is rescued from a hook at least 24 meters away, players receive a token.

The perk has the following effects:

  1. 2 tokens: 3/4/5% Haste status effect for 10 seconds after a survivor is hooked.
  2. 3 tokens: survivors get ExposedВ status effect.
  3. 5 tokens: the ability to kill survivors.

The perk deactivates when the Hex Totem is destroyed.

Hex: The Third Seal

Hitting a survivor gives them the BlindnessВ status effect. This effect applies to the last 2/3/4 of hit survivors.

The perk deactivates when the Hex Totem is destroyed.

How to Play Hag?

The Hag is a killer who can easily survey the map. Players must strategically deploy their traps when using her. Therefore, when playing her, players must focus on setting the traps first.

The best places to deploy traps are around generators and pallets. However, players should save one or two as a backup. They can use these traps around the hook where a survivor was hanged if possible. If players can, they should place the traps in bushes to make them harder to spot.

Survivors have the ability to counter your power by either sneaking around or using a flashlight, which will destroy your trap. This will also provide you with information about the enemy’s location.

Effect

Corrupt Intervention

At the start of the game, three generators that are furthest from the killer are blocked for 80/100/120 seconds. The perk deactivates when the first survivor enters the Dying State.

Deadlock

When a generator is being repaired, the Entity blocks the generator with the highest progression for 20/25/30 seconds.

No Way Out

After hanging a survivor on a hook for the first time, you gain one token. The perk activates when the exit gates are powered. When a survivor interacts with the exit gate switch, you receive a notification and the Entity blocks both exits for 12 seconds, plus an additional 6/9/12 seconds for each token held, up to a maximum of 36/48/60 seconds.

Hex: No One Escapes Death

When the Exit Gate is powered up and a Dull Totem remains on the map, Hex activates and causes an increased movement speed by 2/3/4% and imposes the Exposed status effect on survivors. These effects last until the Hex Totem is cleansed.

FAQ

What are the Hag’s perks in Dead by Daylight?

The Hag in Dead by Daylight has three unique perks – Hex: Ruin, Hex: The Third Seal, and Hex: Devour Hope. Hex: Ruin slows down generator progress for survivors when they miss skill checks, while Hex: The Third Seal obstructs the survivors’ ability to see each other’s auras. Finally, Hex: Devour Hope grants the Hag a speed boost and the ability to kill survivors instantly after hooking them, but only if she reaches a certain number of tokens by hooking survivors that are not the obsession.

What is the Hag’s power in Dead by Daylight?

The Hag’s power is called Blackened Catalyst, which allows her to place phantasm traps around the map. When a survivor comes within range of a trap, the Hag is alerted and can teleport to that trap’s location. The Hag can also break pallets and generators while teleporting, and survivors caught in her teleportation range will be briefly stunned. This power is especially useful for setting up ambushes and quickly traversing the map to catch survivors off guard.

How do I counter the Hag’s powers in Dead by Daylight?

One way to counter the Hag’s powers is to crouch-walk around the map, as this will not trigger her phantasm traps. Additionally, using flashlight beams to destroy her traps can also be effective. When playing against the Hag, it’s important to be aware of the placement of her traps and to avoid running into them while being chased. Finally, if the Hag teleports to a trap while in pursuit, survivors can attempt to stun her with a pallet or flashlight to gain some distance and escape.

What strategies should I use when playing as the Hag in Dead by Daylight?

When playing as the Hag in Dead by Daylight, it’s important to place your phantasm traps strategically around the map to catch survivors off guard. Try to place them in areas where survivors are likely to run, such as around pallets and windows. When teleporting to a trap, try to do so when a survivor is in range to catch them off guard and gain an advantage in the chase. Finally, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings when teleporting, as breaking a pallet or generator while doing so can leave you vulnerable to survivor attacks.
