Supporting the Empire

How to start: Reconstruct the bridge in the northern region.

Quest giver: – (M18,20)

One of the pits in front of the stronghold

This mission involves reaching the imprisoned group of soldiers. Begin by utilizing the Power Points in the War Room to rebuild the bridge. After that, you must set fire to two pits filled with corpses in front of the stronghold (M18,20a,20b). They will be inaccessible to you due to a magical barrier and each will be guarded by an Arcane Horror that can summon new undead to the fight.

The entrance to the stronghold

Once you’ve completed this task, head to the gate (M18,20c) where you’ll be confronted by a powerful demon. Once defeated, it will drop a legendary weapon. Upon entering the stronghold, you must clear your way through the corpses and avoid the defense mechanism – a moving strip of light that ignites anything it touches.

The defense system mechanism

When you reach the top, use the ladder on the square. There, you’ll find a massive mechanism that you need to spin (M18,20d). Doing so will deactivate the defense system and open the door to the inside of the stronghold’s room.

Imprisoned soldiers

Behind the grating, you’ll find the warriors you’re searching for (M18,20e).
