This page of the guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough for the level A Plan to Save Han in Episode 6 – Leia, Luke and Jabba’s palace in LEGO Skywalker Saga. The guide covers the first part of the walkthrough for episode 6, including how to infiltrate Jabba’s palace as Leia and Chewbacca, how to find the heroes as Luke, and how to defeat Rancor in a boss fight.
Please note that this walkthrough is based on Story Mode and does not include secrets or collectibles found in the game. We recommend completing Story Mode before playing in Free Play mode.

Jabba’s Palace
Your journey starts by controlling C-3PO and R2-D2 in The Jundland Wastes. Follow the destination markers to reach the palace with a blue terminal in front of it. Interact with the terminal as R2-D2 and complete the ring puzzle to break into the terminal.
Breaking into the terminal will allow you to start the level A Plan to Save Han.
A Plan to Save Han – challenges
The level features three challenges:
- Don’t Blow Our Cover – Complete the area with Leia and Chewbacca without alerting any enemies or machines in the palace until you reach Jabba for the first time. We have provided the optimal route in our walkthrough.
- Learn the Droids’ Fate – Discover what happened to R2-D2 and C-3PO in Jabba’s palace. You’ll have the opportunity to complete the challenge in the first part of the mission while playing as Leia and Chewbacca. Reach the corridor where the heroes have to cooperate and pull two levers. Destroy the left fragment of the wall to reveal the bars and see the captured droids.
- Rancor-cussion – Pick up five objects using the Force and throw them at Rancor in the boss fight. This is included in the walkthrough while playing as Luke.
Walkthrough – Leia and Chewbacca
In the first part of the stage, you control Leia in disguise and Chewbacca. Follow the path imposed by the game to avoid raising the alarm and completing the Don’t Blow Our Cover challenge. Do not attack anyone or destroy any objects near the enemy.
To proceed, take the path on the right. You will encounter a trap with retracting spikes. There is no need to search for a specific pattern or blindly rush ahead. Approaching the spiked plates will trigger some of them. If the spikes slide out even slightly, it indicates that the plate is a trap, and you should choose a different route.
In the following area, pull yourself towards the hook visible in the distance and demolish the golden object on the right. This action will reveal the lever. Pull it to lower the bridge. You can now place both heroes on two different pressure plates and unlock your way further.
You will come across the location illustrated in picture 1, where you will need to build and use 2 levers. This area is guarded by enemies, but you can distract them by looking into the southern room. As Chewbacca, locate the weak point shown in picture 2. A short cutscene will begin, showing the distracted guards.
Return to the closed door, break the objects nearby and use them to construct the levers. You also need to push the large object near the lever on the right. This will enable you to grab hold of 2 levers simultaneously.
You will reach the location where Han Solo is imprisoned. Find the box with the energy source shown in the picture. Collect it and take it to the interactive slot. You will watch a cutscene that brings the first part of the mission to an end.
In the second part of the mission, the main character is Luke, and if you are playing solo, he should be your chosen character. In this case, fighting is not recommended. It’s best to focus on your path and keep going.
Upon reaching the room with the raised bridge, use mind control (Influence) on one of the enemies. After taking control of the enemy, direct them to pull the lever.
You will now arrive at the location you previously encountered – the one where you built two levers. This time, you can lift the gate using the Force. Continue until you reach Jabba and the captured heroes.
At the end of the mission, you will face Rancor. Be vigilant for the red lines and circles that indicate all strong attacks, such as Rancor’s charges and the areas where objects will hit the ground. Keep moving and dodge if necessary.
Consider using the Force to attack Rancor. Pick up nearby objects and throw them at the boss. This will enable you to complete the Rancor-cussion challenge. Remember to face the boss before each throw to ensure you do not miss.
Luke does not have a lightsaber during this fight. You can try melee attacks with your melee weapons, but they will be risky because the boss can counterattack.
The unique aspect of this boss fight is that Rancor can catch heroes, and they cannot prevent it. You can react to this type of attack in two ways:
The first step in defeating Rancor is to switch to the other hero and attack if the captured character can’t do anything. This will force the beast to release the character, as shown in picture 1. If there is a button icon visible, as seen in picture 2, quickly mash it to progress. Fortunately, Rancor only has one health bar, making it easy to defeat in a short amount of time.
