The Great Pit of Carkoon
After completing the first story mission of episode 6, you will find yourself in The Jundland Wastes. Your task is to catch up with Jabba’s barge. It is an easy task because the barge will not leave permanently. Just reach the blue circle, and once you’re there, confirm that you want to start The Copa-Khetanna level.
The Copa-Khetanna – challenges
This level has three challenges:
- Boba Fett? No Sweat! You must destroy one of Boba Fett’s rockets while it’s still in the air. You can do this only in the second part of the fight, when Boba Fett starts flying around the barge with his jetpack. It’s best to use the stationary cannon to shoot down one of the rockets (see picture above).
- How do YOU Like It? – You have to hit Boba Fett with a reflected projectile. This is the easiest challenge that you can complete right after the fight starts. While playing as Luke, hold down the parry button and (automatically) deflect the projectiles until one of them hits the bounty hunter.
- Trick Shot – You must hit Boba Fett with a thrown lightsaber while he’s in the air. You can unlock this challenge at the beginning of the fight. Boba Fett will repeatedly fly over you using his jetpack. Face him and throw Luke’s lightsaber as soon as the boss starts one of his overflights.
The Copa-Khetanna – walkthrough
This stage has several parts, and at the beginning, you will face a boss fight with Boba Fett.
You should attack this enemy from a distance – you can throw a lightsaber at him or use a ranged weapon.
You can also try hitting the red containers on the barge and deflecting projectiles with a lightsaber (this way, you can complete the How do YOU like it? challenge).
The boss uses a blaster and can also stop the hero in their position – in such a case, quickly press the button visible on the screen to free yourself. You have to knock down Boba Fett’s first health bar to proceed to the second part of the fight.
The second part of the duel involves Boba Fett flying around the barge while the boss attacks with rockets. You can avoid the rockets or destroy them mid-flight to complete the challenge. To defeat the boss, take control of the stationary gun to deal significant damage and take down any projectiles. After winning the fight, save R2-D2 by reaching the back of the deck and building a crate tower to climb up. Get rid of the enemies around R2-D2 and interact with the blue terminal to confront Jabba the Hutt. Playing as R2-D2 will make the fight easier as the droid has full freedom to move around the cabin. Avoid Jabba’s strong punches by attacking from behind. The boss fight is prolonged by reinforcements and the need to attack Salacious Crumb. Once you erase all three of Jabba’s health bars, a victory cutscene will play and the level is complete.
