Hail Sithis! – p. 2

New main objective: Report to Amaund Motierre

Before returning to Amaund, it is recommended to explore the ship thoroughly for valuable items. Ship exploration can be done later, so it is not necessary at the moment. The emperor’s cabin contains the most valuable items, such as those found in closet cabinets and his bedroom. After exploring, use the exit located in the emperor’s cabin (as shown in the above screenshot).

Open the world map and head to the Bannered Mare inn in Whiterun. Inform Amaund Motierre about the emperor’s assassination (as shown in the above screenshot). He will inform you that the reward for completing the contract is in the same location where you first met, which is the Volunruud ruins.

New main objective: Retrieve the payment

New optional objective: Kill Amaund Motierre

You can fulfill the emperor’s last wish and decide to kill Amaund Motierre. Remember to wait until night and close the door before attacking to ensure no witnesses. One surprise attack should be enough to kill him (as shown in the above screenshot). Don’t forget to search his body for any valuable items he may have.

Leave the inn (ensuring the door is closed behind you to hide Amaund’s corpse) and open the world map. Travel to the Volunruud tomb. Eliminate the skeleton in the first corridor and head to the chamber where you first met Amaund. Approach the large urn (as shown in the above screenshot) to collect 20,000 gold pieces.

New main objective: Report to Nazir

Leave the tomb and select the fast travel option to the previously explored Dawnstar Sanctuary. Look for Nazir in one of the largest hideout chambers (as shown in the above screenshot). It doesn’t matter if you tell him the truth or lie about the amount of money received for killing the emperor. Nazir will be happy to hear about the completion of the last contract and share his plans for rebuilding the sanctuary. He will also ask you to contact Delvin Mallory in Riften again, who can assist Nazir in his plans (for a fee).
