To unlock this quest, head towards the town of Salem and then to Rook Family House. Talk to Barney on the rooftop of his house (M3,16).

Once you reach Salem, head North towards Rook Family House. You’ll find Barney fighting off mirelurks on the rooftop of his house. Speak with him and follow him to the basement. He’ll ask you to activate five turrets in the town using the terminals located right next to them. This will protect him from the creatures.

While exploring the town, you’ll come across many mirelurks, especially by some of the turrets. Activate each one of them, and then return to Barney to gain access to the locked room in the basement. There, you’ll find a Reba II sniper rifle and an issue of Guns and Bullets.
