Joining a guild

The Guilds system in Lost Ark is extensive, and joining a guild provides significant benefits without any direct responsibilities. To join a guild, open the guild window (Alt U) and search for the guild of your choice by name, description, or from a list. Some guilds have ilvl requirements to ensure all members are on a similar power level. You can also find guilds looking for members in the chat.

Guilds have their own chat tab and you can send messages to your guild members by selecting the green Guild option in the chat or adding the /g prefix to your message.

Benefits / activities

Joining and helping a guild develop provides numerous benefits:

1. Currency – Sylmael Bloodstones (described below)
2. Party – You can easily find party members for activities like the Abyssal Dungeon that require integration between players.
3. Additional activities such as Guild vs Guild and Guild vs Environment.

Donations

You can support your guild with daily donations that develop the guild and provide it with funds. This raises its level and rewards you with a higher guild level and Sylmael Bloodstones – a special currency used to purchase items like Honing materials. The guild and its members need to be high-level to participate in further activities like guild battles. Guild progress resets every Thursday at 7am.

Sylmael Bloodstones

Guild members receive Sylmael Bloodstones by donating funds. These stones can be traded for silver, combat experience, Gear Honing materials and entry tickets for events like Cube or Hall of Silence / Sun. You can also exchange them for Star Breath, which increases your Honing chance. Look for the gray icon signed as Sylmael Bloodstones Exchange in places like Luterra Castle, where it can be found inside the castle to the left. Guild Honor Banners that significantly increase your contribution to the guild can be obtained in the in-game store for crystals but not through regular gameplay.

Research

Guild-conducted research influences its development and unlocks new content. Every day, you can support one of the ongoing research projects of your choice for free. You will earn Contribution and Sylmael Bloodstones for doing so.

Weekly Assignments

The tasks offered by the guild to its members are known as weekly assignments. They can be tried more than once, and completing them increases your Contribution, which leads to more crystals being awarded at the end of the week. The guild’s experience is also increased. These assignments can be tried many times during the week or even during the day, and they are frequently associated with other activities, making it worthwhile to complete them.
