Sandy Coves Convalescent House

All the residents of the convalescent house have long since passed away, but the robots are still functioning and attempting to be of service. As you explore the building, you’ll discover a plethora of medicine and drugs, but in order to access them, you must first find six keys. Most of the keys can be found in the guest rooms, while one can be obtained by persuading the receptionist with low Charisma skills.

The main terminal at the entrance contains a comprehensive list of all the keys and their locations. The list includes:

  • Catherine, 205: By her cat bowls
  • Edward, 106: Behind his typewriter
  • Ethel, 203: Beneath her paint brush
  • Margaret, 104: Under her fertilizer
  • Mortimer, 101: In his favorite boat model
  • Randall, 201: Under the mounted deer head (it is possible to find the key under the skeleton)

Each key is adorned with a “nuka-cola quantum” pendant and unlocks one of the safes at the reception. The safes cannot be picked, so having all six keys is essential. Behind the closed door near the reception area, there is a Massachusetts Surgical Journal magazine that can only be accessed using the terminal.

As you make your way back to the exit, the facility will be attacked by a horde of synths. The robots can be helpful in battle, but they are only able to temporarily distract the enemies.
